Umbrellas

Well this photo was taken what seems like ages ago. First semester of photography (seems like forever ago). This image was suppose to be for I do not remember the name but I do remember that it was suppose to be a similar object filling the frame to make it balance. It was a fun project and we had a blast shooting it. I miss those days when we had a lot of fun, and when everything in photo was easy, now everything has to be hard and complicated, BUT all is better. And this image was published in a french newspaper can't recall the name but it was.

Concept - Final (First)

Well, one of my classes this semester is concepts, sounds pretty easy right? WRONG!!!! To be honest its is so difficult to do at times to come up with a good concept. Well and its even more difficult working with models (especially when they bail on you last minute! Dx). This is why having best friends who are willing to model for you is the best friends you can ever have. So in this photo is my BFF and I thank her very much for helping me lately =D. The concept is suppose to be subtle but not too subtle that people will be asking what is it, it should be obvious to an extent. Just as a note I AM NOT A GRAPHIC DESIGNER I DO NOT KNOW WHICH FONTS WORK BEST THIS IS NOT MY AREA. Just as a side note so that way if people tell me that wasn't an effected font well I do not do fonts I do photos and try and get a font that may work.

 These photos are from last year when the butterflies were let free. They do this every year and this was the second year I went. This year I shall be going again because its a fun experience and its a chance for me to get better photos.

 

Spice Up Your Life

I have a slight obsession with food and macro, put them together and you get great detail food shots with SHARPNESS. Oh how I adore sharp images. So for our first time ever getting out hands on the flash system (white lightning) I got to bring in whatever I wanted, (seems a little vague but it let me be creative). So I decided to bring in a spice set that I have at home, with chilies that were with it. They came in little pots and where perfect little things to use for exactly what I wanted to do. Again I have seen other people do this and I decided to give it ago, mind you I got a good mark on this too.  

Desert Shot *YUMMY*

Well this was what we had to do for our food photography. Since our teacher LOVED deserts we had to do purely desert shots. For one he said that they always turn out good and second was the fact that he personally loves chocolate (go figure). SO since I love to browse the web and what not, I have seen many people do deserts but I personally wanted to try using a cinnamon roll. Since our picture had to be a diptych I decided to use an ingredient that was used in it. (Whats better than using cinnamon sticks) and so this is the outcome of the whole shot put together. I personally enjoy this shot (and got a very good mark on it) =D
